Hey so I want to make my fog lights the same color as my headlights with hide, are the g37s coupe 2013 headlights 4300k or 6000k. Also if i want to make my actually headlights 8000k can I just buy a new xenon bulb and put it on or do I need to buy a whole new hid kit. Thanks!

 

The foglights in the G37 are not HID. If you want to make them match your 4300K stock headlight HID bulbs, you will need a HID conversion kit. The conversion kit comes with a ballast and relay. If you want to swap your headlights to 8000K, all you need to do is switch out the bulb. Everything else is ready. However, the amount of usable light your headlights put out will drop significantly.

DiodeDynamics sells the conversion kit complete with bulb temp of your choice for ~80 bucks.

You dont want to go for 8000k... depending on your budget you can do two things... either leave the OEM 4300k that have plenty of lumens~3100-3200 (light output measurement unit) OR purchase the PURE WHITE Osram CBIs 5k (Cool Blue Intense)-kinda expensive but worth it

.....which produce more light than the OEM that is 3500 lumens which is unusual for any other HID bulb to produce more luminosity than OEM bulb and then get matching 5k HID kit for fogs... best combo you can do I personally so far got 5k fogs and they're pretty good paired up to the OEM 4300k bulbs altho you there is slight difference and that I will eventually take care of by getting the CBIs.
