The fold down flap in my center console cup holder (the little two half moon shaped plastic fold down piece that keeps a cup from sliding around) snapped off in my '09 G37x. I think both tabs on the sides broke off.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement part and fix it myself? I can't find a part # to google the part anywhere. Rather not pay the dealer $100 or $150 bucks to fix such a minor thing. Thanks for helping!

 

I had this happen on my '09 as well, but I squeezed it in as a warranty repair right before my warranty ended. You can't actually buy just the flap, you have to replace the whole cup holder assembly, which is what the dealer told me at the time.

 

Thanks for the reply. Spoke to my service rep, said its not covered under warranty because any plastic piece in the car that snaps off that I cause isn't covered, and that I'll need to replace the entire unit which will cost between $160 and $200 just for the parts, plus labor charges! What a ripoff!! I guess I'll put my coffee cup somewhere else for that price.
