I second jmagg37x.. I love the shrouds you used and the color coordination! Did you just put a shroud/lense over the stock foglight area keeping the original connector/assembly or something totally custom?

Thanks man! Unfortunately, I didn't take any of the rear before putting it back in the car. But, I didn't drill any additional holes or anything. I retained use of 100% OEM materials, including the caps.

And yup, it's the TS-P lip. Trust me, with the scrapes on the bottom, if it was fiberglass, it would've shattered eons ago.

Thanks man! I would certainly do you a set if you wanted. Just PM me if you are interested!

I will go out and get one soon. Right now, MD got hit with a bunch of snow. The G is staying in the garage until Mother Nature checks herself. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!

I love the shroud I used because I was able to drill holes for the light to peep through. The shroud is a GTI-R shroud.

I am definitely going to tackle this project within the next six months... although with a slightly different take. As another member said, this is groundbreaking and inspiring. very nice.
Thank you! TRS is a great resource if you want to get the parts from them. Certainly not the only supplier, but the best nonetheless.

Definitely will be putting cut off lines soon! MD got hit with snow and until then, I ain't taking out car! Regarding the OSRAM bulbs, they are light LASERS. As expensive as they are, it makes me feel happy to know that I purchased the best of the best (and they truly are the best bulb) for my car.

Funny you mention that. My younger brother owns a 2011 G37xS and I am making a custom quad for him too!

Will do as soon as I can actually drive the car in reasonable weather.

Trust me, it's TOTALLY worth it. Maybe not to normal folk, but to people who know G's, the quad lights ALWAYS turn heads.

I would recommend you do some research before buying stuff. Google HIDplanet and learn about the various types of projectors, bulbs, methods, relays you can use. Although I chose one specific method so that I wouldn't have to cut anything beyond the headlight housing, there are literally hundreds of different ways and combinations of ways to do the work. Definitely do the research first otherwise you'll look like a kid in a huge Toys R Us warehouse not knowing where to start.

brassman, it's a combination. It's totally custom but still using stock foglight area. That area is used entirely to house my new projector. It serves no other purpose.

Good luck bro. Trust me, it ain't for the feint of hearted. I actually had a spare headlight set sitting around and I butchered the first one.

Ever since that monstrosity, I've taken the proper precaution to incrementally measure and cut the headlight until it was perfect. When it turned out perfect, I've made a proper template on how much I need to cut exactly so now they come out exact every time.
