Question Window won't roll up

Hey guys, my battery died last night so i got a new one this morning from Pepboy's and they changed it for me blah blah blah. But now i was getting out of my car to go to work and my window doesn't roll up. So it's about half way down right now. I'm going to def try to reset method, but if that doesn't work what should I do ?

mine did the same thing after i disconnected the battery. You just have to reset the windows:

roll the window down then roll it up and hold the button up for 10-15 seconds... Repeat on both sides. Problem solved

I would but the window doesn't roll up at all, and it's 1/2 down right now. I don't run the risk of having the window all the way. Is that the most common fix ?

When mine did it my window would go up all the way and then roll back down 1/2 way. So what I did was hit the window button down (the window would roll down) and then I held the window button up for like 20 seconds (The window rolled up) and it reset the windows. let me know if that works.

Ok just an update I went outside after work around 10 pm and the car window rolled all the way until I opened my door and it looks like that it rolls down a 1/2 inch. So I guess ill try the reset lol. I'm just happy if I can avoid a trip to the dealer.

That 1/2" drop is what it's supposed to do ... I would still do the reset though to get everything in sync

I had the same issue when I had disconnected my battery to jump start it after it had died. Each time I opened the doors when I turned the car off the windows rolled almost completely down. I took my car to the dealership and the service tech fixed it immediately. They said to push the power window button to the first click and hold it there for 10 seconds then release it. They had a 370z that had come in a few days before and had the same issue so they knew a quick fix for it and didn't charge me a dime.
