How do I re-align my hood?
Just noticed that the hood on my '12 coupe is out of alignment...its a lot close to the fender on the passenger side than on the driver's side when closed...its not rubbing the fender, but its pretty close. What do I need to adjust in order to re-align it?
You should check the rubber dampers under your hoods (both sides) one may be shorter than the other so that why it s not aligned when close. This happened to my friend's car.

Hood adjustment
I didn’t see any way to adjust it laterally. The hood bolts go into the holes for the struts . I tighten the nits so that the hood is as far as possible towards the passenger side but I still have noticeable gap on the passenger side between the hood and the fender (about 1/8 “inch) . Any suggestions. Someone was taking about checking rubber dampers?

Its your hood struts. Amazon has them for $20. Nothing really goes out off alignment unless you were in an accident. Safe to say once you shut your hood, the back end by the fenders need a little oomph to get it all to sit nice and flush.
Sorry, didn’t see that you swapped hoods. G’s don’t have adjustment in the hood side of the hinge. Going to have to pull your fenders to adjust or ream your top hole. Bottom hole is to set your hood to fender depth, top is side to side. Keep in mind, the hinges to upper rail holes don’t have much play either. Aftermarket parts will fight you to the end no matter how much you pay.
