Passenger Front Seat Weird Mark 2013

Hi all.

On the passenger front seat which is otherwise perfect, this strange line / marking seems to have formed in the back of the seat as shown in the pictures below. The car is 1 month old and the seat has been sat in a handful of times.

The outline almost look like a lighter color. It's like a ridge has formed although the marks feel flat.

Any clue as to what this might be? Is it the foam underneath? Even looks like a stain of some sort?

Did you try a leather cleaner or conditioner to get rid of it?

Hey man. I did use some. The pics are after. It's just bizarre because it wasn't there when I picked up the car because I would have noticed it. My thoughts were to try cleaning it. No dough. Maybe steaming it could help.

Looks like a Water Stain of some sort... if it was there when you bought the car? Dealer might replace... look on DIY or check a Automotive Detailer shop see what their opinion is... since they work yet clean seats...

Its called 'crappy Nissan leather syndrome'. Probably just from someones butt stretching the leather a bit.

To be honest, from the photo's it looks so minor that I wouldn't worry about it. When the car is brand new, you will notice the tiniest little things. Unless it gets much worse, I wouldn't even worry about it.

Strange because that's what it seems like ... I am going to talk to my detailer and see if it may be worthwhile to try and steam it. Worth a shot. I'd hate to have the dealer swap it. Ever steam your seats before? Does it clean the foam underneath?

Sounds right; I had the same thing on the driver's seat on the 2009 I just sold.
