Nope, larger. Comes from the rear hatch of the QX56

That's what it looked like. How much larger is it compared to stock?

Not sure if the QX56 is the same size as the QX80, but here is the size difference between stock and QX80:

Looking to get this type of grill in the near future, probably a AutoKitsX mesh grill. How did you install your emblem? AutoKitsX grill doesn’t bring a emblem bracket.

I wonder how it will look with 2 intake filters behind it.

It looks pretty mean when the light hits it right if you have different colored filters. I got black covers (for rain) and now it is a bit more stealthy. The emblem has strong adhesive on the back

I believe it is off of a Q56 tailgate. It has adhesive on the back so you just stick it onto the mesh.

Like 4drz, I've decided to go the custom route and have an OEM grill converted into a mesh style one.

Here's a preview (metal mesh is a placeholder, thicker ABS mesh will be final):

Oh wow you are finally getting to your grille project. Weren't you going to do that last spring? It is a time consuming project, but the end result comes out pretty nice. So what is your plan for the end result? I am curious to see the finished part.

^well, I had originally planned to do it myself, but after much procrastination, I found a very skilled shop (through YouTube of all places) that was willing to take on the project. Glad I went this route; IMO, unlike routine maintenance or small cosmetic projects, bodywork should be done by skilled pros, of which I am not.

So far, it looks to have come out great, but I’ll receive it last this week to take a closer look and test-fit.

Finishings will be gloss black vnyl wrap, new ABS diamond mesh, and re-application of the Fuji badge. Should have updates before July 4...

That should look pretty nice when it is all done. I know what you mean about vinyl wrap. I have not tried my hand at that yet, but I bet we could figure it out with enough patience.

Another preview, this time installed. Hope to wrap things up sometime next week. Overall, the OEM conversion grill is A LOT better than the poor-fitting CMOD grill.

Grill isn't bolted in to the front bumper, which explains the slightly-off fitment.

NOTE: following photo is NOT the CMOD grill

Fitted the ABS mesh into the custom grille. Coming together nicely, waiting on gloss black vinyl in the mail...
