Take pictures of the door sills so we can see if you got the standard or the option.

I think the illuminated door sills is a good option to get. I'm happy with mine.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse but if Infiniti calls them illuminated kick plates and they are an extra cost option they are not illuminated door sills.
The door sills are part of the vehicle both before and after the illuminated kick plates.

Thanks for correcting me calling it the wrong nomenclature in the interest of correctness.

NP! We take our nomenclature seriously here.

Sadly, the part is if the OP signed the paperwork and if it doesn't say anything about illuminated kick plates on there then he is SOL. The dealer doesn't have to give him anything.

I just checked the features that are included and it doesn't include the illuminated kick plates. So how much would it cost to have that installed?

You can do it yourself and buy the parts...it's super easy. I got mine new for $240 shipped from the OC dealer from James. You can ask him. It's way cheaper than the $360 they charge. You can ask your local dealer for the parts and see how much they charge you.

Way cheaper? Save $120.00 or $60 for each side.

If something doesn't work after you are done then what?

Better to let the dealer install it.

Just my $.02
