Help : Canceling seat synchronization

I recently purchased a 2010 g37 x and the seat goes back and the steering wheel goes back when you leave the car or turn it off and it goes into position when I start the car.

I am having a hard time disabling it because I do not like the feature.

From the owners manual I read car must be in park, in acc position and you hold down the set button, and the memory switches will flash you hold it down for 10 secs.

I've held it down for 15 secs and it still doesn't flash.

Can someone help me disable the feature please

Maybe I am doing something wrong

I get in my car and hit the start button once which goes to acc, and then I hold down the set button on the steering wheel that is on the right side. Maybe there is another set. Button that I do not know of? I hold it down for 10 secs and still nothing so I continue to hold it down for another five. I am assuming when the manual says memory switches it is talking about the one on the drivers door where u set the seat positions

Ty in advance

For acc, you have to hit the start button twice.

And the set button they're talking about is the memory set button on the drivers door...not the cruise control set button on the right side of the steering wheel.

You sure you read the owners manual?

That actually sounds kind of cool, like settling into the Tumbler. Mine doesn't do that... is it an AT thing only?

OP, you're double-posted. Delete the first post in your other one and the entire thread goes bye bye.

I like the feature because it's easy for me to get in the car. It sucks when I have people rolling in the back seat and it's hard for them to get in because the seat is all the way back or if I get out first, it smashes them lol

It is. My 07x had this.

OP - you can easily change those setting in the Comfort & Convenience section of the LCD UI.

Owners Manual - Section3
For Automatic Transmission models, the seat synchronization function can also be activated if both the Lift Steering Wheel on Exit key and Slide Driver Seat Back on Exit key are turned to ON or canceled if either the Lift Steering Wheel on Exit key or Slide Driver Seat Back on Exit key or both are turned to OFF in the Comfort & Conv. settings. See VEHICLE INFORMATION
AND SETTINGS...

Ok now I think I need some more help I finally figured out how to make the memory switches blink once or twice, according to manual if it blink once it will cancel it and if it blinks twice it will activate it.
It doesn't seem to be working

I am a newb so someone help, the feature I am trying to cancel is when you exit the car the seat goes all the way back and the steering wheel goes back and up. And when u get back into use car the seat and steering wheel will go to ur memory setting

I do not like how it moves back because people that seat in the back gets crushed.

Is this the correct way of disabling this feature and if it is why is it not working?
Is it called something else. I made the memory switch blink once and I thought it was canceled so I get out of the car and the seat and wheel moved back wtf..........

Why do people ask questions in the forum that are answered in the instruction book? If they don't have the instruction book, they can find it on line and in this forum. Judging by all the spelling errors in this forum, perhaps they can't read.

Did you read what I wrote in post #10 right before your last post.
It's easily controlled from the Comfort and Convenience settings on your 7" LCD screen.

Owners Manual, section 3 & 4 shows you what to do if you can't figure it out.
Here, maybe this will help.

Strange, I have memory seats but the comfort options I have do not include those two. Did they discontinue them before 2012 or is it because I have a coupe? I wish my steering wheel would raise up automatically...

If the OP has difficulty reading the owner's manual, perhaps he could visit his local Infiniti dealer and have his salesperson help him with the seat adjustment.
