Need Quality Interior Lighting
Need Quality Interior Lighting
Hey guys, sorry if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't really find the answers I needed by searching through the threads. Anyway, what I'm trying to do is install accent lights in both front footwells, along with under the very back of the front seats to illuminate the back footing area. But, I don't want it to look cheap and definitely don't want it to be overpowering. I don't intend to get the infiniti accent lighting because I don't want/like the white lighting. I plan on hooking it up to the glovebox so the lights turn on strictly whenever the headlights are on. No use in having them on during the day.
Where is the best place to buy quality accent lighting from? I see alot of V-LED.com posts. Are they a favorite in the g37 community? Also, I want to match the cool blue lighting around the ***** and gauges as closely as possible. I considered trying to get a kit with a manual switch for multiple LED colors and install it in the center console, but I'm not trying to have a clown car. That probably could look pretty fresh if done correctly but im undecided.
Trying to keep it classy.
Any advice? It's greatly appreciated. Have a good one guys!

Thanks guys! From what I've seen, it seems like they're a fairly preferred company. I also looked into Advanced Automotive Concepts. They have all the Oracle lighting and halo lights. They do have a g37 interior lighting package, but it just looks soooo bright. I don't want it to be overpowering. Just so hard to tell from pictures on the internet!
true true. think ill just buy one set (not gonna install just one) and see how bright it is then get more if i like it. I'm sure im overstressing about the brightness, just dont want it to look cheesy. I appreciate how elegant infiniti makes the interiors look and I don't wanna decrease that.

lol. Im looking forward to seeing the outcome though, I'll try to post pics asap!
Should turn out OK, that's a lot of LED's, you probably only need 1-2 per foot well. The accent kit from Infiniti (fronts only) are just one LED per side. What would be ideal is when you open the car doors they are bright and when the doors are closed, dim.
I would love to do something like this with my M37 but I can't bring myself to take anything apart and DIY on a brand new car.
