Front Plate Bracket

Well I avoided a ticket until today. I just got a no front plate ticket this morning so I think I need to start looking for options to mount the plate.

Anyway, I have a 2010 G37xS so it has the sport bumper with the lip. What are my options if I am looking for something that doesn't require holes in the bumper?

I have seen some of those. I am not sure if that will lead to more issues if I do get pulled over though. If a cop specifically pulls me over for no license plate and then I hit a button to display the plate he will most likely know something is up.

While sure, it may be perfectly legal and it would be tough to give me a ticket, I am sure he would try real hard to find something else to write me up for. I don't see it being any different than cops being "trained" to estimate your speed to within a couple miles per hour and that actually holds up in court.

I think I might be leaning towards the Stillen, even though it is expensive (so is the motorized one). Plus I would be concerned about the motorized one potentially failing, especially in the cold winters and thus defeating the purpose of beating no plate tickets.

I am tempted to just zip-tie it to the grill, but I would be worried about it falling off.

Spend the money and do it right, the motorized ones are great. I had to display the front plate I woulddefinately get one.
