Rare Headlight combination :)

So I finally got my car fixed, body shop decided I'm in a need of a new headlight so they bought it for me and replaced the old one.

Liking the new shiny look I'm getting different thoughts on either I should just go back to stock or repaint to the black/white combination...

Black and white looks nice. Headlight components don't stand out with all that chrome they come with.

It'd look better if the area around the shroud was painted black instead of white. Looks like a giant white circle.

I've heard it's a bad idea to attempt this job with a heat gun. Have you given gunmetal a thought? Maybe white housing with a charcoal or gunmetal shroud?

Find yourself an oven first though...

I did mine with a heat gun, easy and no problems doing it that way.

Painted headlights def. On my GS with lip and custom painted grill (similar to yours), the headlights, being stock, look out of place. If anything, leaving the shrouds chrome, and painted bezel black would look subtle.

I like the stock better, but it works better with the grill being chrome. At this point it's kind of a toss up. Do whatever floats your boat!
