DRL issue at night

Hey guys!
I just purchased a 2008 G37 coupe S and I've noticed that when my HID are on , I get only one DRL on (passenger side) . But when I turn off the HID's I have both DRL working.
Hope you guys can help !

I am pretty sure with HIDs ON (low beams) the DRL should turn OFF on both sides. Are you sure it is not the Fog lights. Drivers side burnt out? I believe fogs only work with the low beams ON. Check if your fogs are ON. If so turn them OFF and ON to see.

No problem friend! Hopefully that is the issue... Though that does mean a new bulb but hopefully nothing electrical!

The switch is on the headlight stalk - down the stalk.

Good luck!

Ok I double checked everything and realized that the fog light (h1) are working properly , same for DRL . Now when the low beam HID are on and fog lights off, theres a small bulb not lighthing on under the DRL (h1) . I searched the owners manual and found out it's the clearance bulb thats out ( same size as licence plate bulb ). Size seems to be 194. I will check tomorrow where to get it. Whats stressing me is that I have to pass inspection friday morning :s

They are cheap bulbs, in fact you may as well go for LEDs, but they are a bitch to change. You have to pull the front wheel shroud off to get to the back of the headlight area.

Yeah, go to LED .... V-LED is a good source, others use Diode Dynamics.
