can anyone tell me what the little light is for? It is to the right of the sunroof power button. It goes on and off with the headlights, but what is it for?

Ambient lighting is my guess. Just extra illumination at night.

 

a little illumination for your center console so you can find stuff in there at night.

 

Mood lighting for night time.

Supposedly makes you want to hit on yourself when driving at night.

 

"Wow, I look ravishing in this light! Come home with me, right now!"

 

Don't lie when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the rearview, that ambiance lighting really sets the mood, you're just like damn...

 

It is the government camera in your car, so they watch everything you are doing. They hope to catch you doing something that they can tax, and then give the tax money to someone who does not like to (legally) work. If you attempt to disable it, you will have your healthcare revoked for five years.

 

It has a camera in there. So that Infiniti can see what you are doing in the car. So be-careful what you are doing.
