HID Fog light help
HID Fog light help
I have a 2012 sedan, and HATE the stock fogs...they look so bad!
So I'm looking into a HID conversion, specifically: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
My question is, do I need the "error eliminator" for the fog light? From my readings, I DO want to get the harness, so that the kit would get power directly from the battery and shouldn't have start up issues.
If I do need the error eliminator (b/c of CAN bus I'm guessing), could I use it with a harness too?
I was debating getting this harnesses or a cheap one:

If I do need a "error eliminator", can I just get this cheapo:

Lastly, anyone ever try cree bulbs down in the fogs? Googling shows they aren't great with heat, but I figured by themselves in fogs they should be fine:
