'08 coupe leaking from driver's side window

My '08 has developed a leak in the driver's side window. It's coming in and leaking over that little speaker to the left of the steering wheel. I first noticed it when I went through a carwash. It doesn't always leak while driving through rain, but I think that just maybe has to do with the angle that the rain is hitting it.

I didn't worry too much at first because it just seemed to be a few drops. But now my car smells like mildew and I'm concerned that water is pooling somewhere I can't see or feel it. Is there insulation or something in the door panel that might be getting soaked?

My b2b warranty is expired so I'm worried about how much it might cost to repair. Anyone car the guess what is causing the leak, what kind of damage I might be looking at and the cost to repair?

Thanks in advance.

I kind of had the same issue but I got wind noise coming from that area. Don't think I got water. Luckily I was still under warranty and got the seal around the side mirror replaced.

datboiroy,

I know you got the work under warranty, but do you remember what it would have cost?

The leak is going to be you door seal on the body of the car. Call infiniti and get a price on that part. Its easy enough to install if you have any mechanics skills at all. other wise they will prolly charge 1.5 hours labor to do it.
