You're best bet is to make those LED lights yourself. Let me know if you need help.

Here is what my LED bulbs look like. Those large resistors are a must have for the power output.

Thanks for the reply and info! Since the LEDs are already installed, do you have any recommendation on making this setup work, or will I need to scrap it out and install all new parts? The LEDs have not created any problems, the relay just gives out prematurely. Guess I should have popped for OEM in the first place.

I originally purchased an ebay setup, installed it, wasn't happy, and got the Phillips DRL set. MUCH happier. I suggest you go that route.

Interesting...the LEDs decided to start working again on their own two days ago. Then today I parked the car and noticed they stayed on, would not shut off. Definitely an issue with the cheap modules/relays. If I could only find a quality module I might be set. An exhaustive search found nothing but the cheapo's. Frustrating...

Maybe you just got a bad harness, mine have been working perfectly the whole time?

What would be bad about the harness? On the first failure I tested the lead wires to the module and had proper voltage right up to it, but no power out. Replaced the module and all worked fine for a while. The fuse has never blown and all LEDs have lit fine when the system works, so I don't suspect a short in the harness or connections. In fact, I originally had issues with the connections, so I wire-nutted them all and sealed them with liquid tape.

When they wouldn't shut off yesterday, I removed the fuse and heard a click in the module. When I reinserted the fuse this morning, nothing, no LEDs again. Wish I could buy the Philips module only, but looks like I'll have to purchase the whole kit. I don't particularly like the Philips LEDs. I want to keep the OEM look with the OEM style LED housings, especially since I have the holes drilled in the grilling for them.

Thanks, I would probably go for that. Sounds like the installation is simple enough.

Did you have to take the bumper off for installation?

I'll get pics on Weds but my car is actually in the shop right now for some minor body work. A lady backed into the side of my rear bumper.

No need to take off the bumper. My guy had it on a lift and peeled back the plastic cladding on the underside of the car to install the lights. Then he worked the wires to the battery terminal. Clean install and it took him less than 90 mins for both lights.

No need for anything else. Don't hook up the one wire to the light if you want a true DRL experience. My lights are on anytime the car is on and they turn off immediately when the car is shut down.

The 8-LED version is getting much cheaper now, and the 8-LED version will auto dim when your headlight is on. (when you wired the control unit properly)

I have this 8-LED version on my other car. On full power at night, its really too bright for on-coming traffic and would produce a lot of glare. I ended up wiring the control unit properly so that it will auto dim when the parking light is on. So that I am not blinding everybody else on the road.
