You're in Texas right?

Go to the nearest border crossing and see if the US Customs officers will let you check out all those cars they impound coming in from Mexico. I'm sure you can get a bunch of ideas from that OR you can just tune in to "Border Wars"

As upstanding citizens, Internet Brands has sent the ID of each poster in this thread to the local police closest to the IP address most recently used. Search warrants will be procured shortly. That hidey hole better be a good one.

Oh drat, this post is 4 days late.

I leave that duty to my driver that drives my truck installed with a bed cover.

Like the idea. Very simple to modify. I wonder how much space there is under there. Either way, I can raise the floor of console.
Ill keep these idea in mind.

I may even able to enlarge the compartment and smuggle cuban cigars from miami to the DFW area

how about something under the center hard plastic part in the rear seat of the coupes. How much room is there to work with under there?

I used to have a 350Z without a BOSE system and instead of having a subwoofer behind the driver seat there was a plastic panel that covered the subwoofer hole. You could pop the panel off and you had TONS of hiding space in there!

If you do come up with something in the G then please post pics.

Also, in the coupe there's a decent amount of room UNDER the center console. If you simply remove the ash tray on the back of the console (it pops right out) you can access it very easily and put the ash tray back in seconds. Very inconspicuous, not particularly secure.

I was looking for the same thing but to put equipment for a touchscreen monitor:
What about the overhead console, there is room up there inside the light housing.

I think this is the perfect spot as nobody but you will know because it's all OEM.

Hide it inside the seat bubble!!!! LOL

IF you really want to hide something, and you said you can make stuff happen. Lift off the rear seats and take apart the rear passenger side trim, there should be large metal panel with like 20 screws.... inside~ to the bottom there is a pretty large space that you can use to make a hidden secret compartment. But you have to make a path or hidden door by cutting and making other mechanism for easy access. only took off the passenger side so I do not know about the driver side. Try and update us~ LOL

very interested as well........... but not because i have anything to hide

Maybe you could make a compartment in one of the small arm rests in the panel of the back seat, and reconnect it with hinge. Or one under the dash right above the floor. i know there's a bunch of empty space under the drivers side
