Who has LED's in their headlights?
Hey guys. I've searched around and haven't really found a thread like this, so here I go! I've been really wanting to mod my headlights, and I'm thinking about getting LED's installed in the iron man part (like 180 Custom stuff) and/or in the side strip, but I'm not sure.
For those who have it installed, do you like it? How long have the LED's lasted you? Have you ever had to replace an LED bulb? If you're in Los Angeles, where did you get it done? What color LED's do you have?
A picture of your headlight would also be nice, if its not too much of a hassle. I'm just trying to get ideas.
I'm curious because I've seen them and they enhance the look of the car tenfold, but that's just it, I've only seen pictures and not heard any reviews.
Thanks!

reaseal it with the right silicone thats water proof and its easy bit time consuming..the leds are single leds mounted behind..and yes the headlights have to be open you also have to drill holes in the clear cover that goes behind the chrome shroud and thats where the leds show through and are mounted
Yea like what red G37s said, the headlight needs to be opened and it can be resealed with some silicone sealant. Its not too difficult of a DIY. Breftayka posted a very nice DIY on how to break open the light, paint it, and then reseal it. And yes, they are single leds, but no drilling was required. we just stuck them on the inner clear shroud and put the painted one back on top so all the wires were hidden.
