Can someone please scan and post a work order for a bubbling seat warranty replacement. My dealership does not believe anyone would get it replaced under warranty. They also told me they also have never seen a bubbling seat.

They'll confirm. I had it replaced @ Beaverton Infiniti (Oregon), but didn't bother to keep the invoice.

 

I had mines replaced also but the tech who did the swap didn't do a very good job on the installation and it's causing a few lines to form on the cover. However I fixed it myself using a heat gun and settled the leather back Down a bit.

 

They told me they checked with Infiniti for past seat replacements and they said no one has every had one replaced for a seat bubble. I just need proof of a invoice. If i show them the invoice, they will have to replace it.

Infiniti Consumer affairs told me the same thing. They never heard of a seat bubble before. They are denying everything. The warranty work order will make them look stupid.

 

My dealer has agreed to replace mine, but I don't have an invoice yet. Sorry, but good luck!

 

Once you get the invoice/work order, can you please scan it or take a picture I don't care if you blank out the VIN number, just need some kind of proof.

 

Did Beaverton infiniti replace the whole seat? My concern with replacement is that it'll look different than the passenger seat, which is still pristine on mine since my wife sits in it once a week.

I'm out of bumper to bumper anyway, so meh.

By the way, even if you get it replaced, it'll come back.

 

Hmm maybe I'll call them to I complained about mine twice and the told me Infiniti would only pay to have it leather replaced by a aftermarket company?? Dealer said Infiniti would not replace it cause it is on astetics( I know thats spelled wrong)

 

I had my seat cushion replaced on my old g35 coupe. There was a TSB for a small tear being caused by a piece of plastic sticking out.

The seat they replaced had a different shade of color than the passenger side. After a couple months of conditioning with Lexol, the shades finally matched.

 

I have no luck with this issue either; my SA said he can't see it when it's clearly there! He offered me to do a leather conditioning service that cost $140 I looked at him like really!?how's that going fix the bubbling. Guess I'll seek a new SA that's more helpful.

 

They wouldn't replace mine here in Oklahoma City either. They said it was normal wear.

Himalaya can you please scan or take a picture of the invoice they gave you for the warranty service. You can black out the vin if you want.

Yeah, same issue here. Big bubbles right in the area where I sit. Looks ridiculous... My local Infiniti dealer turned me down twice stating that Infiniti doesn't just change leather seats. And I'm still under warranty... If someone has an invoice, it'll help a bunch of us out!

 

They swapped both bottom parts of the seat, matched perfectly.
If it comes back ill just have them fix it again (still under warranty)

To OP I'll search for the invoice when I get home.
Worse case if you really need it I'll go to Beaverton Infiniti over the weekend & get a service record copy.
