OEM Re-Paint

Does anyone know how much an OEM repaint would cost? My G's paint is a bit on the faded side, not too bad though. I just want her to look off the lot clean.

Give Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Touchup Paint Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup | 888-710-5192 a try. My buddy said their prices are very competitive. I just purchased a quart base color, clear and primer to paint a new front aero bumper. This is my first time using them though... good luck and let us know if you find some place cheaper with quality products!

Thanks Bubba for the suggestion. I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable doing it myself though.

my original plan was to purchase the paint and call around to have a auto body shop to paint my bumper but i just got the itch to try it myself. it'll be a first for me but fear not i say, if something messes up then just sand it out and try, try again! at least now you have an idea how much the paint will cost.

I agree, but I have some paint chips, and one nice deep scratch on the bumper to get rid of. To be honest, I'm sure it'd be cheaper to fill, fix, and paint just the bad parts and then get it detailed. But I want to entertain the full paint job idea a bit. Depending on price of course.

Depending on level of detail, $2k-$7k would be a ballpark.

I seriously can't believe someone suggested painting a car as a DIY job. This is not a piece of s*** Ford Pinto

And I can't believe some of the suggestions I see on here sometimes

Hey if he can do it, why not? I can't flame anyone for wanting to attempt stuff on their own. If it comes out bad, well hes only out less than 100bux. A professional will have to correct it from there. Lesson learned. If not, well he just got a paint job done for 100bux!

for reals, don't you just love it when people post useless comments making themselves look like an ***. just because you can't do it doesn't mean he can't, to each his own
