Window started scraping out of nowhere?!

It scrapes when it goes back up, I took a video and it's processing atm. Anyone else have this issue?

Here's the video

I know exactly what you are referring to. Where the door meets the rear quarter, there is a rubber piece that makes the squealing noise. I haven't fixed mine yet, but it annoys the hell out of me!

I think all of them do that! i think its just the rubber wearing down after so many times the door opens and closes

Guys, I think mine seems to be sounding more like a "scrape" as in cutting the glass than a squeak against rubber. I think there may be some tiny rocks or dirt trapped in there?

Hey Guys,
New member here! I had same issue on my 08 G37S. Dealer said "They all do that"
Cleaned all the weather seal; no help. Got desprate, so I wiped a small amount of
trilube all over the seal. Problem was gone immediately and has not returned.

Hope this helps!

double check for things stuck below the weather seal if at all possible, try the lube as posted above. i know scratches can be buffed out. i have scratches on my window from when i bought my car (used dealer) and im taking it in tuesday to get fixed. they said they just buff the glass untils the scratches are gone.... we'll see how well that works, if not im getting a new window and will have to get it retinted...

Might as well post an update since this thread is alive again. Mine just went away....the next day when I was getting in the car, I noticed that it wasn't scraping anymore.
