I need to purchase a D2S HID lights. I've been looking on ebay for 4300k ones and they're all for 'low beams'. I'd thought that one bulb functions for both high and low beams. Can anyone clarify if I can use these 'low beams' and use high beams as well? How does this actually work?

Bixenon headlights use one bulb. High beam is activated by flipping an internal shield. You can use any D2s bulbs.

 

See this thread for a quality bulb. It's 5000K not 4300K, but it puts out more light and whiter light that isn't ricey blue.

i have stock phillips sitting in a box. they were taken out at 2000 miles and replaced with a higher k rating bulb. you can make me an offer if you want them.

 

Get these $95 a pair, Phillips 4300K. OEMS.
