Diode Dynamics Stage 3

So I totalled my g35 (rip) and upgraded to a g37!

Woot! I love it btw. And first thing i did was change the interior lights.

I've read about most people going to vled, ijdmtoy etc etc but i ended up going with diode dynamics because the kit was there and a good price. I went with stage 3 even though i was worried about brightness and color.

Turns out they are a perfect white, no hint of blue or anything. Great and easy buy too, bought it shipped next day arrived usps in a few days after. Took maybe 10 min to change out all the lights. I'll be happy to write a how to if people actually need it as well.

But here are some pics because i searched the forum for them and couldn't come up with this specific brand. They are cell phone pics and a bit blurry but it gets the color perfect where my actual camera kept making everything look blue.

Since this company proved itself with the interior thus far im going to go ahead and use them for the exterior lights as well. I'll be getting reverse lights - rear blinker - front blinker - 6k hids and a 3k fog light hid kit from them as well and will post those here as soon as i get them and put them on the car!

I got these and then had to deploy a few days after. Can't wait to come home and install!

I just installed the stage 3 package. I have all white except for the maps are the red. Figment for the maps was a little fussy, but after a little fiddling I got them to work. I'm pretty happy with the colors. I'll definately be ordering the exteriors I need from them.

Nice pics. Those are some bright LEDs though. Good thing they make different levels of brightness. So to install, do you basically take a screwdriver with some cloth and pry open the covers?

Yep, they're all pretty easy to remove.

Here's 2 pictures with the stage 3 red maps. One is door open, the other is door closed with 35% tinted windows.

wow those are freaking bright. glad I stuck with stage 2. Is any one else having issues with the map light constantly falling down from the double sided tape? Annoying as hell...

Please hold the adhesive very firmly in place for 10 seconds or so, and it should get a very secure hold. Thanks!

Looks awesome, are the Stage 3s too bright or just right? I was considering the 2s.

Diode, is there a slight hint of blue in the Stage 2s?

honestly, the stage 3 for the doors, license plate, trunk, and glove box are awesome. the stage 3 for the maps are a LITTLE bright, but it's not anything i can't get used to.

honestly looks good.

if you look on the top (roof) of the glove box area (there's no top to the box) there should be a little white square.

in order to change the bulb you must remove that half of the dash after pulling out the glove box.

if you do a search for these forums, there should be a DIY on how to remove the box and that part of the dash to get to the light.

might be just that light in your '08 is just burnt.

I found the DIY for removing the cabin air filter which has the glove box light in it. I also ordered 6000K headlights, 6000K fog light HID conversion kit, and stage 2 LED kit! Hopefully everything goes smoothly!

ya, that DIY will get you to the light. just remember, you don't need to REMOVE the dash, just get it about 2" away from the front and you should be able to get to the light.

good luck, i'm sure everything will come out fine.
