HID Bulbs

Well I'm picking up a new to me G37S in BS 6MT on monday, an i know right away I want to tint (5%) and I want to change the license plate bulbs to LED and change the D2S bulbs in the headlights to a 6000K, possibly 8000K. I just needed some suggestions as to where to buy from at a fairly decent price, I was thinking HIDextra but I'm not entirely sure? Any help or basic things i should go through when i purchase the car Monday. It's not set in stone since I havent seen the car in person, but If everything checks out I'll be coming home with a new toy

Looks nice man! I'm sure you'll love it! A lot of guys go with VLEDs for lights. There's also Diode Dynamics that has been lurking around the forums lately.

Thank you! I'll be placing an order on Tuesday. Still having a hard time deciding between the 8000K and 6000K. and for the license plate, do you recommend the 40 or 20 lumens? i don't want too dark, but don't need obnoxiously bright either. Thanks in advance!

+1 for 6000k bulbs. I'm a fan of the stock 4300k temp in the G, but if you're going aftermarket, anything higher than 6000k looks entirely too blue for me and makes my eyes tired when driving anything over 30 minutes at night.

Had a Jaguar X-Type 5MT for a few years and briefly had 8000k bulbs. Hated it and switched to 6000k.

Well, I picked her up yesterday, and its amazing. just perfect. Dropping it off for tint tomorrow, going the 5% route. a huge thing for me is the damn rear lip...I hate the chrome thing. I want the paint matched larger one.... my question is, I see some on ebay for $150 shipped (painted) that are OEM style but not a Infiniti / Nissan OEM part. Should I go this route? Is it high quality? and how difficult is it to install? I also need one with the camera hole...

Go with the OEM.
You won't regret it.

5% tint? Sorry, too dark!!
I'm at 30% on Black, and it looks perfect.

Went with 5% all the way around, 50% on the windshield and 5% strip at the top. I LOVE IT! Ordering some HIDs tonight after work, still leaning toward the 8000K though
