How do they operate/when are they ON?

I would imagine they are ON when when no lights are ON. But what happens if you turn ON the parking lights? or headlights? Or are they just ON 100% of the time the car is ON?

2011 G37 Journey Coupe and I don't think it has DRL?

 

The DRLs are an OEM option for '10-12 Gs that can be installed separately or at the dealer. They stay on all the time.

 

I have the oem drl's and they turn off whenever the parking/headlights are on.

 

^^^^ this. I Have them as well and they are on unless the park lights or headlights are on. They also turn off when the parking brake is engaged.

 

Awesome. I hope the instructions are clear, so how my dealer will figure it out as they are intended.

 

I would hope that they have the proper installation instructions and know how to install. I guess depends on your dealer.
