Anyone had any issues like this, bought a 08 g37s looks like previous owner drifted the crap out of it before trading it to a dealer. Had my independent mechanic inspect it and everything checks out but he says that behind the radiator, the aluminum piece that connects the two frame sides, the welds are coming undone. He recommends a replacement or it could start screwing with the frame.


Anyone make an aftermarket version of this item or is their a way to get it besides a dealer. He called it the front core/frame support.

 

why not have the mechanic reweld it?

 

its aluminum mechanic said its better to replace it. Is this a common problem for the g37 i've searched the forums but nothing really comes up.
