Autokits X opinions?

I really had my heart set on the AIT TS body kit from Autokits X. But the horror stories I've read about on here about the original AIT TS knock off and its fit issues gives me serious pause. I know that a lot of you are fond of Alex and his work. Anyone know how well put together Alex's TS kit is? Have any of these fit issues been resolved by him? I am most specifically interested in his TS full front bumper.
I will be contacting him also to get his opinion. I don't want to shell out a lot of money to make this kit fit on my car. Thanks in advance

I don't think Alex builds/molds the AIT kit. I think he might just be a distributor form AIT products. In other words, will fit like **** unless you take it to someone who can fit it right.

That's troubling to hear. I want the look but I don't want to shell out a devastating amount of money to get it on there right.

Seems like you either pay for authentic for a good fit or you pay a body shop to make a rep fit perfect. Pay me now or pay me later?

Sounds like a no win scenario. I don't believe in those lol. There's got to be another way.

If you're not dead-set on a fake Top Secret bumper, shoot me a PM. I can get you quality, authentic parts.

Bill, I received a pm from you and replied with a request for examples of kits. But I haven't received an email from you yet, sadly. No rush, though. More than likely it will be a few months before I am able to purchase. That could change to a sooner time frame any time, though. I am very interested and anxious to see your JDM selection. My car is in desperate need of increased sex appeal. :-P

Weird. I just double-checked the e-mail I sent. I don't want to post your personal e-mail address on here, but I copied exactly from your PM... Maybe my e-mail landed in your spam folder or something?

u dont want them prepainted... u want to fit it on ur car, make any adjustments/modifications as needed, then paint it.

u can trim and adjust the AIT kit to make it fit urself if u dont want to pay a bodyshop to do it for u.

or u can buy it off someone else's whos already been fitted. where r u located?

If you can't afford the authentic TS kit and don't want to pay a bodyshop to make the replica fit, then you kinda have to look into another bodykit. There are some good options out there including the Autokits-X kit that Alex actually makes.
