That's good to hear, I think it looks tacky. Well that saves me the trouble of getting it molded shut. I'm probably going with the sides and front, maybe a V1 diffuser though. Thanks for the info.

So this is how we should install the autokit side skirt...

I have had the auto kit side skirt for over 6 month and every while I drop my car to a body shop to find out how to get this thing fit but we couldnt find a way to fit it (this is why you can see in my Turbo thread that i have auto kit side skirts but not installed)

By mistake I think auto kit also forgot to send me those clips...

I wonder if auto kit can send me those clips to me as i have the sides for over 6 months..

thanks for thread bro!

Using the OEM clips, the clips along the door jamb would not go in and stay clipped. They are simply too short and we pulled the sidekirts out once or twice to see what the issue was. This resulted in 2-3 of the brackets on the Autokits skirts to break. We could not figure out what the issue was and I had to blue tape the sideskirts along the door jamb to keep it stabilized. I then contacted Alex@Autokitsand discovered they had forgotten to send me their own clips that they used for the install.

The clips came two days later and they worked like a charm. I put them into as many brackets as I could (I did not dare pulled out the OEM clips that were already clipped into the holes). These clips were longer than the OEM clips, and allows for a much easier install. The sideskirt install is basically cake with these clips that came from Autokits.

Why you didn't contact us and let us know about the clips?
we can ship them to you... for faster respond please send me an e_mail at autokits-x@hotmail.com also included your full name and where did you buy the side skirts (we have some other vendors selling or products).

Thanks,
AUTOKITS X

You reuse your oem clips for the diffuser.

If the OEM clips are giving you a hard time I suggest using a nut and bolt instead of the OEM clips, it'll be easier to install that part. Then you just align it and pull off the 3m tape and done.

What you wanna do is separate the clip in 2pcs and insert the round part of the clip on first then insert the push pin to snap it in.

Hehe, you can always depend on the forum members on some of the things. You know how to get ahold of me if you ever need anything.
