i have a pair of 10k bulbs i'm about to install but i'm kinda scared cuz i'm pretty sure its gonna be TOO blue. my friend has 8ks on his GTR and says his are really blue, but in person it seemed like 6ks. i know cops will be on the lookout for the 10ks, what do you guys think? should i stay with 10ks or go to 8ks???

My friend had 10K's on his 370Z and it was too blue, almost irritatingly blue. So he switched it up to 6K.

 

Id say before you scrap it completely, try it out. I know depending on the brand, 10k sometimes looks like 8k or even as much as 12k. Cops will get you for blue. 5-6k is pretty safe, I havent ever been bothered. I had 8k in my fogs and that too hasnt given me any problems. All depends on the cop. Installation isnt hard, so might as well try it out and post some pics!

 

installing is hard to do it myself unfortunately, ive asked friends but no one knows how to do it without jacking it. i'll try it out, but im also 100% sure im gonna have to go 8ks. wish i could trade someone

 

No need to jack the car, just turn the wheel the opposite way that your on and pull the fender liner back! its not really hard takes about 10 min or so.
8000K is the highest I would go, but i always install 6000K headlights and 3000K fogs in all my cars

 

10k too ricey imo

 

i've tried doing that but its hard to pull the fendor back and i don't wanna screw it up. and i'm going to try the 10ks. but ill probably get the 8ks. i just need to get rid of the 10ks

this is irrelevant but my friend had purple lights on his Audi TT and they looked sick as ****!!! but his car is customized a lot so it looks sick otherwise.....i should post a pic actually

 

but he probably can't see at night. color temp goes up...usable light goes down.
