Tinted or "smoked" tailights
im not a fan of completely black tail lights.. dark cherry is my preferred for fully smoked, and 180's gtr style tail lights are my favorite if you are going to do the cut outs!
nice trunk! vinyl? well I'm not hating just expressing me opinion, what matters is that you like it so be happy! lol
Anyway, they are a bit dark for my taste now and I'm going to move a few shades lighter to something a bit more 'black cherry'.
I'd like to take this moment to note that nearly everyone that's looked at my tail lights has complimented me on my tail light paint job. They're shocked when I tell them that it is actually a set of Bat's overlays. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure the Bat himself was deceived by this at one point. Plus they can be removed cheap and easy if you run into a ticket. It falls down to the skills of the installer and the quality of the tint, really.

wow now I want to get my taillights done lol.. -_- but I can't paint them since I'm a lease.
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of it on the Gs, I'm not sure what it is. I had this on my old VW:

vs. the the stock:

Which I thought offered a shade that complimented the color of my car, and think helped improve the overall appearance. On the G, though, I think it's such a smooth flowing car as is that it doesn't really need the help. Never been a fan of all black tails either, but I think that the white car in someone's sig on the first page pulls off the "smoked" look nicely. Just my $.02.
Edit: This is the car, I think this looks really clean.

Come to think of it, I don't have a recent rear picture. I'd take a new one but I'm away from my car for another month or so. Anyway, the overlays really are good if installed properly, but the darker smoke that Bat offers is too dark for what I want now.
