Been a while since I've been on here...but I've been doing carbon wrapping for years now. Carbon parts are used to save weight obviously, but alot of parts now are so lightweight that it wouldn't pay to make them in carbon. Interior parts especially. What I do is cf wrapping. Take a stock part and permanently wrap it in cf. Fit is perfect, but get the look of real cf. I know guys are gonna say it sounds rice but when it comes to most parts u can't save weight by making it in cf. Check out my site.
I've been on the 350 forums for years and now I'm on the 370z forums
Check us out. ***.com. also on facebook

Curious about this. I had a cf roof overlay that totally effed my roof. See below. Is this an overlay that is put on with double side tape or are you sealing it somehow and are the edges finished?

went through the gallery on your site and its the exact kind of finish i want! (was looking at the 370z) if your prices are reasonable, im sure you'll have plenty of business on this board. especially right about now, where it seems the cf bug has bitten a lot of us. haha

No sir...mine is not sick on stuff...what I do is strip your stock parts, prep them, and permanently wrap them with cf...I did the same for that roof. We removed the front glass, the pillars, and the hatch. Then stripped the roof, wrapped it and finished itl then finished with a couple nice coats of clear. Just like all my work. You see no edges on this roof. And I airbrushed the back edge where it goes into the trunk to blend it nicely.

tonester1011 charges like half what IGT wanted for cf parts which makes things reasonable. Frankly, he is right in that making parts in cf is negligible in performance when dealing with the interior trim pieces. They are so light already, what would we save? like a pound max? lol
He is situated really close to me so ill probably go get my interior wrapped by him once i get my car back from the shop. Will post pics once I get it done
