Hey guys, I am new here so please go easy on me

I've searched but I couldn't find the answer to this question. I live in Vancouver and I want to get my headlight housing changed to black (as many of you on the forum). But I don't have the luxury or being able to send my both my OEM headlights to a someone in Cali to get it done. Is this something that is simple to do? Am I able to go to a shop and ask them to do the same or will I just look like a dumbass?

Check out the DIY thread on this. If you are squeamish about doing it yourself, print out the DIY and have a good shop do it for you.

Good luck. I personally love the look even though I have not gone that way.

it's easy as long as you got the nerves in baking it in the oven and cracking them open.

 

there is a DIY on this, Its not hard as long as you take your time and be patient. Also its important to reseal your housing back properly, otherwise your going to get condensation on the inside and you will have to do it all over again.

 

yeah take your time. you do not want to f*ck up on the headlights lol.
