I had mine replaced under warranty due to scratches/ peeling on the rubbery bezel on the wheel. I did not figure this would happen to me, but either it's the elements or my wifes ring as the cause. In any case, I'm linking the new wheel. How is everybody else's holding up up?

Update: I spoke to the parts dept and they said it's the same. At the time they either ran out or did not have the wheel with the specific features for the options I have.

im saying this because you said your wife drives the car too:
ill be honest, hand lotion has a HUGE thing to do with breaking down the leather and making peal, chip off, or fuzz up into tiny *****.
some hand lotions/coco-butters are petroleum based others are not, and since women wear lots of that crap, it tends to break down the steering wheel in spots often held the longest while driving.
also its horrible for the plastic buttons. i see it a lot with Mercedes buttons wearing quickly.(they have a rubber coating on the plastic buttons.)

There's a steering wheel on the this thing too... you need gloves to use this thing at 5mph or slower
