Just installed HID fogs

I just installed 5k HID fog light kit and after i completed the first fog i checked to see if it worked and it did. Now after i installed the 2nd one i checked to see if they both worked and none of them worked. Whats the problem?? blown fuse?? Thanks for any help!

Yup, check your fuses before anything. Also check for loose connections.

Im not an expert but Possible different voltage, some hid kits need resistors to work properly. Some already have it built in, but like I stated I'm no expert.

Bump???

#1 did you check your connections?
#2 did you check your fuse? (Fuse box located inside the battery box)
#3 if the above is okay, install your factory bulbs to see if it works. Or you can try this first either way.

On a side note, some hid ballast wire harness is reversed meaning on the plug that goes into your ballast needs to be turned. the + goes into the -

All the connections are perfect, The problem was it blew a fuse. I replaced the fuse and had them on for around 20 mins and it didnt blow another yet. Just say if it blows another fuse, What can i do to stop it?

Man the same thing happened to me in my G37s.. And its really getting under my skin i have to take it to the dealer to see if i blew the fuse or the wiring harness.. I said F the HID KITS AND GOT ME LED FOGS they last longer and dont have to worry about stuff messing up

Are they functional as far as brightness?

Car H1 LED SMD Light Lamp Bulbs

Probably just for look, if ur expecting to use it as fog light, prob wont work too well.

What watt kit did you get? 35w or 55w. They sell direct wire kits to draw the power directly from the battery.. WAY better that way.
