Took it to a shop. its some special tinted thick vinyl that goes on like 3m. definetly will save the lights from rock chips and scratches. its at least 2mm thick. went lighter on the fronts then the back. i know the car needs a drop and it looks like that in the picture but in person its not that bad. i live in a severe winter city and we got potholes that that would swallow your wheels so im not sure if im gonna drop it. the h and r's are way to low for me and eibachs are a bit better but we'll see. getting sway bars and the smartroof next. i would like a supercharger to make it quicker but afraid something might go wrong with my ****ty luck, theres not enough really good mechanics in edmonton that have a proven track record with this kinda stuff so maybe traveling out to Vancouver may be a wiser idea. heard way to many horror stories..

Btw just slam it! Everyone thinks Cali has nice Flat roads but the roads here suck too! I'm sure it's as bad here as anywhere else, go to downtown and the roads are terrible and long beach is the worst.

the day you bought the JP lip and decided to get nice rims is the day you gave up your excuse not to lower your car.... you can't say that you don't wanna lower your car because of the road conditions cuz if they're THAT bad then you wouldn't have even gotten either one of them in the first place! Bumper and wheels will take the majority of the beating, so if you put money into them, then there's no reason why you can't lower the car!

but car looks good!... do not like tints on lights though...=T they belong on windows only.

im not a good lowered car driver. ive never owned a lowered car but have seen my friends drive oh so careful with there lowered cars and they scrape still, when it happens its almost like it ruined their day.. i dont know if i could be that cautious or careful all the time. dont get me wrong, i still contemplate it all the time but im still weary of doing it. dont wanna scrape my car everytime i leave my steep driveway either..

^^ I hear ya man, it's definitely a different challenge to drive a lowered car. I slammed my EVO and it was a completely different world driving it! I LOVED the look, but it certainly required a whole different level of concentration, which can be stressful.

What's ultimately the MOST important thing is that YOU like it, not what we think! And on that note........ tint the windows first, not the lights, lower that ride, I don't particularly care for Vossens, and the color of you car is ugly :-)

Kidding man! Looks great! Glad YOU like it!!
