stuck window glass

Ok, before you say all I need to do is RESET the window regulator motor.... Let me say now that I have tried that and no luck.

Basically, my driver side window will not roll down when the door is opened. The glass is stuck in it's highest or in the door closed position. I had to drive home with the door cracked slightly open because the door cant be closed with the glass stuck up there.

The passenger side works fine.

Anyone have any idea whats wrong??

That's not something needs regulator resetting. Sounds like your window motor is broken.

Normally, the car window will slide down every time you open the door, until it reaches the very bottom. That's when a simple reset will fix the problem.

In your case, it's either a broken motor or a wire is disconnected.

UPDATE**

Dealer fixed window issue, works fine now. It was the switch that was malfunctoning.

They also ordered new washi door pulls and that washi trim around the shifter for me. All under warranty.
