Fog lights on headlights off how to do this

Hey guys. Is there anything out there were i can control just the fogs without turning the headlights on. Anything would be much appreciated.

Same for me. There are so many times I need the fogs on without the headlights on. I don't understand why they don't set up the car that way in the first place.

A relay and an extra switch in your cabin would be pretty easy.

EVen with an HID kit they won't turn on independent of the headlights.

You can do that or you can run a relay to an hid kit, splice your day running lights and attach the trigger wire to the day runnings/parking light. This way they will be on whenever your day running or parking lights are on, regardless if your high beams are on or not.

What I've been trying to figure out is why you can't one wire up the foglights directly into the parking lights without blowing the fuse. Would a bigger fuse really be the solution?

Did some daytime running lights connection on my car, its kinda same for what you're asking.

Follow figure 1, if you want fogs to come on all the time except when parking lights are ON, fog switch will not work

Figure 2, if you want fogs to come on with only parking lights.
