Daytime Running Lights (DRL) with handbrake

hey guys

I've my fogs working as DRLs and they work perfectly for Canadian driving but they're on all the time. I need to have this working with handbrake, i.e. if the handbrake is ON then lights should be OFF and vice versa.

Anyone know where I can tap into the hand brake signal?

Oh, DRL was setup using help from other posts on this forum.

If the parking brake is on when the car is started then the DRLs will not come on. However, once the parking brake is taken off then the lights will remain on regardless of the parking brake status from then on.

The navigation system receives a handbrake signal. I believe non-navs do also for video playback.
