A few paint mods w/ pics

Hey guys, I know we all like seeing new pics, especially those lucky bast*rds who aren't driving theirs in the winter. I decided to do some paint work on the grille, bumper grilles, and rear "chrome" spoiler. I like the factory "painted" spoiler, but hated the chrome lip. Instead of buying a new spoiler I decide to paint the chrome lip for a clean look. The grille and inserts I painted a charcoal metallic to match my stockies (not on vehicle right now) Enjoy the pics! Oh yeah, I know the emblem on deck lid needs to be painted. I will paint this the charcoal color at the same time I do the rear bumper "valance" area....and yes I plan on doing headlights to match also. It's just hard when I daily drive it and don't have Raulgcustom down the road from me.

That looks GREAT man! Well done..

My opinion, i'd paint the rear emblem black.. there is no other chrome on the car but that emblem..

I want to use the charcoal and red color combinations. I just don't know how exactly I will set it up.

Looks like nice paint work and color matching!

What paint method did you use?

And what paint? (Maybe answered by the first question).

I used automotive paint and clear. It's BASF Onyx waterborne basecoat and BASF Diamont clearcoat. Yeah I was glad that I didn't have to play around with tinting the red color to get it to match. Thanks
