G 37 Sedan fog light replacement

Does anybody know how to replace the fog light assembly in the 2010 G 37 sedan. My driver side lense has broken and the parts department say I have to buy a whole new unit. He also said he thinks the entire front bumper has to be removed to replace this unit. Sounds crazy to me. Any help is appreciated.

Nissan has always sold the fog lamps in pairs. This has been the case for my Maximas and my Armada.

Index of /FSM/G37/Sedan/2010

look at page 172 of EXL.pdf to see how to remove the foglamps.

Front bumper. There are like 10 bolts u have to undo.. along the front of the bumper, and just undo all 5 clips that attach the fender well.. and 1 screw on each side of the top right and left corner of the front bumper that hold it to the fender... and ur bumper will pop off.

yeah, it's an easy diy. pull off the bumper. the metal "ring" comes off with a twist if my memory serves me correctly. the casing comes off when you take the bumper off. are you doing a bulb replacement? sorry...glimpsed through your post. if that's the case...all you have to do if take the bumper off, unhook the wires (short) and throw them in (H8's).

good luck!

Headlights yes.

Fog light on drivers side yes.

Fog light on passenger side may require removing the plastic splash plate underneath the car to get more clearance. The washer fluid reservoir is definitely in the way on the passenger side so you can't go through the passenger wheel well for the fog light.

I agree with qmantran. I put in DD xml2 fogs and the passenger plastic washer fluid was in the way but one screw out at the top I was able to make enough room to just fit it in then put the screw back.

I have a sport model, might be different for journeys.

I think if you remove the lower splash guards and the inner fender liner, you can replace the driver side fog light housing without taking the bumper off. Unhook the bulb wires and 1 screw in the back holds the housing into the bumper.

I have attached a pic of the backside of the fog housing so you can at least see what it looks like.

Edit- upside down sorry, don't know why that always happens..

I removed my front wheels and they are 18" it was way easier then fighting to get around the wheel but maybe others had better luck with them on.

Follow up question, can I access the headlights/city lights by removing the front bumper? I am going to put in the fogs this weekend, so wanted to know if I can do both from that point of access without worrying about the wheel well

To remove the front bumper you still have to go through the wheel well to remove some bolts.

Once the bumper is off you'll still have to go through the wheel well area to remove the light bulbs.

You do not need to remove your wheels though
