moisture in headlights

My headlights were never modified, or opened and on both sides I'm getting major moisture in the same spots right by the city/parking lights. Anyone ever experience this problem?? I have pics but can't upload I'm on my blackberry. Took the pics to show to the dealer bc it doesn't happen all the time and I don't wanna get the dealer bs run around.

I don't have this problem with headlights but with my reverse taillight. I can actually see water in there after heavy rain. My local dealership has replaced it 3 times but it never goes away. I also took some pics.

Should be covered under warranty. It's not common but it does happen with OEM headlights.

I've never heard of that happening with totally untouched headlights. definitely get it looked at/fixed by the dealer

If it happens and goes away, the dealership will likely tell you it's normal depending on the climate where you live. Take it in to have it documented so that in case it does cause any problems later it will be on file.

I'm in NJ had the car about a year and a half at first it looked like an oily residue but its becoming more and more obvious its water. I called the service manager at ray catena and he claims they have to measure the moisture level bc its normal. I felt like calling him a f-------- moran. U pay good money for a car I'm supposed to stare at moisture in my headlights? Its not a kia, its an infiniti. Its just weird... Same spot, same size both sides.... What's also weird I've let the headlights run for about an hour when it does it... And the heat doesn't dry it out. What also sucks is that it doesn't happen every day so what am I supposed to do run to the dealer as soon as I see it so they can "measure" it to tell me sorry your beat?

Check for the tsb on the brake rotors if you haven't had them looked at yet.

Took the car in for service also noticed the car consumed so much oil there was nothing on the dip stick.... Looks like a new short block for me.. And the driver seat cushion has taken a crap. So they are replacing that as well

My cars at ray catena as well. I showed them pictures of both the headlights- just incase they can't duplicate the problem

i had some condensation in my passenger headlight this morning and went to the dealer and they ordered a new one but my friend said i should reinstall the factory 168 and front turn signal before bringing it in because they might say installing aftermarket piaa bulbs caused the problem. but is the headlight sealed or vented ?

Sealed.

It's just to prevent dealership from blaming it on your aftermarket parts in the light or blaming it on incorrect installation procedure.....etc.
