Kinda cool idea, especially for the injen intakes. I've been wondering when an aftermarket company will make direct replacements for these vents...

hmmm interesting take on that. Well done! I'd like to see some pics from a little bit farther away after you finish both sides (or maybe with one side drilled and the other side not) so that we can see how it looks from the front end of the G

meh, I can see where you're coming from, but I think they look just fine. I really have never had a problem with the look of the faux vents...it WOULD be nice if they were functional OEM though.

But now that I have the TS front lip, I hardly notice them anyways lol

So I guess it doesn't rain where u live??? Plus waters gonna enter thru there when u wash ur car and then ur filters are gonna get all wet. I wouldn't do this to my car.

You need a UNIBIT!!!!!! It,s a tapered looking drill bit that drills super clean holes with no burrs. Plus your injen filter is closet to the inner most part of that vent, in other words the opposite side where you drilled. I think it will look good if you drill out ALL the holes with the unibit to 1/4 to 3/8 hole size.... It would give a open mesh look....Good luck

oh, and don't even worry about water, it's a non-issue as far as rain or washing

NOW THAT"S A HOLE!!
