Yep. I just pulled off my taillight vinyl 2 days ago(after just refinishing them for the third time)because of a fed (that's how some of us say cop, in south florida) issuing me a ticket for them.

I disagree, but then I prefer the cut outs for the brake lights also.

I may be missing something here, but doesn’t darkening the backup lights cause less light to be emitted from them and therefore defeats their purpose? Or is there a general feeling among blacking out devotees that backup lights serve no real purpose and having a “cool” looking rear end is more important?

LOL @ "Ill never get pulled over in my G"

VHT paint ftl, we used to use it till we noticed how the spray isn't eve if you look up close with the taillights on.

Black with clear is the way to go

Not dark enough?

I don’t understand why you think this is so funny. It seems obvious to me that your taillights are much too dark and some people are not being blind; rather, they’re trying to tell you it’s matter of time until you get rear ended.

^^^ this is the reason i didnt go blacked out, because it would be my fault if i were to get rear ended

Blacked out is like having an automatic excuse for anyone that rear ends you to say they couldn't see due to the blacked out lights...why go so dark in the first place and give people that kind of opportunity?
