Grill surround.
I've had this grill in the basement for a while and decided to throw it on her car and ask her what to do with it (I was thinking she would tell me to sell it). To my surprise, she likes the look a lot more than the stock grill. Now we have to make some decisions. The decisions in the long run include headlight color, and wheel combination.
On to the grill surround. What color should it be. The mesh will be sprayed with gloss black to match the lower grills. The center support bar will be removed and everything behind the grill will be blacked out.
1. Gloss Black. This was my original thought but a lot of friends have picked red. I thought black would be a no brainer but others think differently.
2. Red. I fear this will make the grill look to small and be too much red, but she thinks it should be red and so do a few guys at my painters.
3. Black chrome. This opens up a Pandora's box. I would have to continue the theme in black chrome headlights. Maybe black chrome on the wheels somehow. How do I go about doing the black chrome... This could be a big mess, but could look really good. This is an easy one to pick when it's not your time or money.
Here it is on the car.

Yeah, I'm staying away from matte black. It's not my thing.
However, the rear valence is matte black but that's because I want it to blend in rather than get your attention.
