Stillen Splitter or TS front lip?
I just wanted to get some of your guys opinion on which would look better on a OB coupe. I will be dropped on tanabe coilovers. Im a bit worried about the TS lip scraping and cracking up and looking sh*tty. Opinions?
While the stillen splitter is clean and easy to install, the TS lip is more aggressive and distinct. The car isnt a daily driver and is used mostly for cruising.

I would go TS lol you will probably scrape since dropped. the stillen would probably benefit you more since it's not as low and very clean easy install and sits under bumper. I loved my splitter but fell off and if my TS lip was not available for local pickup I would def go w Stillen. TS def looks baddass and also more expensive . Just try out Stillen and since it's only $200 it will def change the look of your front end.

Shipping does suck, im going to get a quote from Lou, he says it normally runs 130-160, seems a bit high to me but ill see what he says. Maybe hell hook me up if I order my coilovers and camber kits at the same time.
Maybe ill try the stillen splitter and have the grille painted OB (leave the emblem chrome) and see how I feel about that look if shipping is outrageous for TS.
I don't know wht your financial situation is but , the cost of TS plus shipping and to get painted and installed is not gonna be cheap . Stillen more practical and no paint required I personally like how it comes matt BLK and just slap it on and be done! Gonna cost 215$ hippdd for stillen and easy install !!!! Use you $$$ for drop/wheels/camber kits /coils or whtever u decide to get first. Go Stillen man^ . The only reason I chose Top Secret is because a guy local had a Polyerthane molded full bumper w perfection . My bumper is igor 180 customs molded TOP Scret font end and it's very durable even when I scrape it's very strong an will not ever crack. If you choose Lous AIT TS ! be very carefull if you dropped cause it sits low and it's made of fiberglass and you will crack it if you hit anything . I lucked out getting my front end man I do scrape and have hit stuff and man I have zero issues except just having to repaint the bottom cause stupid building put a hUGE speed bump entering my garage and I have no way to avoid tht so I scrape every time and really pisses me off . Other than that I have zero issues even w my drop.

I am a fan of the matte black as well and will complement matte cv1s as well. I think Ill go with the stillen splitter for now and paint the grille, then decide where to go after installing tanabe coils/vossen cv1s.
Leave the grill alone I think it's fine but yes Matt blk splitter with Matt blk CV-1 will look sweet . Nice and clean and trust me the stillen splitter will make you very happy ! I miss it and would def get it again if I had the stock Sport Bumper lol. Anyway GL man let me know what you decide and make sure to post pics .

What diego said is good advice. I've got a stillen splitter on my car an I had it color matched AG. It look great color matched or flat black. It does add a whole new look to the front end of the car without getting too aggressive.
I personally still like the look of the TS front lip better, but between price of shipping and paint makes it a lot less affordable.
Being that your car is not your daily driver, you shouldn't have to worry so much about scrapping and cracking compared to someone who uses it every day. The stillen splitter is very strong and durable, I just recommend using your own hardware to installed. ( bolts, washers, & nuts).

Do you think I should get it color matched on an OB? I can get it done pretty cheap, a family member owns a body shop.

While this is true, I think not having to worry so much about cracking it up and having to repaint the lip etc. is more important to me.
Besides, with the money I save with this option I get my headlights painted and LED work done
