Our stock G37 HID head light bulb

Do I need to buy a brand new HID Xenon Headlight Kit if I want to have 6000K white w/ purple tint?

V-HIDS PREMIUM DIGITAL XENON HEADLIGHT KIT D2S 6000K WHITE W/PURPLE TINT

or

Can I just buy Xexon Headlight bulbs 6000K white w/purple tint only? And just replace them with my stock HID bulbs?

Just replace the bulbs. 6000K should be white with no hint of purple. Maybe the tiniest hint of bluish.

I had 6000K VLEDs...youll know why its only $50 when you install. You might still like it, but it wasnt my cup of tea.

In either case, could you take pics of it? I'm curious to see how the 6000K purple looks. i had the blue.

The headlights are already HID. Just get the replacement D2S bulb and you're set. That D4S bulb you linked is not what you need, and it WILL NOT fit in your car.

Here's the bulb you need:

I had the D2S in "6000K white w/blue" and they were WAY too blue for me. I have pics in another thread here,,but only from the front, not of the output on the road.

I returned them for the 5000K white but havent installed them yet.

speedracer has phillips 6000K...the $150+ ones and they look super white. You get what you pay for.

To each his own, I like the blueish tint. Looks classy to me.

Now purple, that's a bit ricey.

Wondering if I should buy 1 regular OEM ballast or for the extra couple of dollars buy an aftermarket HID kit that comes with new ballasts...?
Thanks

Go with 5000k, stay away from any blue tint ..... that screams, "I went to WalMart and bought bulbs that are coated in a blue coating, I'm so freakin' cool".
