Another episode of Captain ****head!

So i am changing my headlight bulbs... Got through the driver side no problem..

Get to the passenger side and BANGG!

I drop the god dam bulb into the housing!!!

Has anyone else done this??? Please tell me i don't have to take off the bumper and headlight etc..

I tried reaching in through the hole where the bulb is but i couldn't get my hand in far enough to reach it..

Anyone?

Didnt this just happen to someone last week? You either get one of those grabby tools or you have to take the headlight out.

it happened to TWO of us last week...and now THREE.

me and other guy dropped our LEDs inside the housing though, not the reflective part. so I think you can rig a tool to reach for it.

I dont know what the other guy is gonna do, but i removed the bumper and the headlight. took a while.

lol, other guy reporting in. Get one of the grabby tools from Autozone or whatever. It would have saved me had I been patient and left my bulb in the reflector where it originally ended up. Me trying to pull it out with the coathanger is what screwed me.

Personally, the 5 dollar bulb isn't worth it. I just ordered a new set. It's not like it's gonna damage the headlight or anything.

alot of these LEDS are made out of cheap plastics and they don't stay on the parking light housing very and that's probably why it fell to begin with. you guys can try to tape up the ends just to make sure they don't fall in next time.

It's not that it's cheap, it just gets caught on something when we're trying to get the whole assembly in.

It's just an LED. What harm could it do if it's isolated?

Don't worry about it, you won't hear it anyways. The highbeams clicking on make more noise.

It's actually the headlight HID, lol.. I think it might be worth it to just get it out of there.

On a positive note, i can replace all my other bulbs pretty easily with the headlight off..
