depending on what company you get, you will get different colors. from my experience the higher end brands are more white and cheap bulbs are blue.

i got hid fog lights put it a week or two ago and went for the 8000k ones. i was expecting a bluish output, but ended up with a lovely bright white with a hint of blue. i guess it really is all about the manufacturer.
