fog light swap

hey, so this is going to be my first time messing with headlights in any car ive ever driven/owned so im pretty nervous. i have a 2010 g37x coupe and am not flattered by the yellowish fog lights. i want to switch them out for ones that have a tint of blue, but nothing too blue that would get me pulled over instantly. lol. like i said, i know almost nothing about headlights/fitments/ballasts.
what exactly do i need for the install? do i need new ballasts? any idea where to get the bulbs? i read online that i need an H1 bulb is that true? any links on what all i need to buy would be great help. also, how hard is the install?
thanks!

I know the 09 uses H1, I would double check on 2010 just to be sure. But I got mine from HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning and they are awesome.

6000K will be pure white, 8000K white with a hint of blue. It comes with the ballast and bulb, super easy to hook up.

Or....

If you don't need any HID's down there, just get a 8000K H8 bulb... Nokya and Luminics are pretty cheap..... Philipps are good.
